Measures to Enhance the role of UAE in Mitigating Global Warming

Combating climate change is one of the biggest challenges in the world today. It is a very complex global problem with no easy solutions. It requires not only input from scientists but also from political leaders, economists, and the society to help minimize the impact on future generations.

Scientists warn that we must globally achieve net-zero carbon emissions no later than 2050. However, this can only be achieved with a significant shift to renewable energy.
According to NASA, responding to climate change involves two possible approaches: reducing and stabilizing the levels of heat-trapping greenhouse gases in the atmosphere (“mitigation”) and adapting to the climate change already in the pipeline (“adaptation”).

This masterclass will enable you to understand how to simplify the link between present energy systems and continuing climate change, discover how we can combat global warming, and learn more about the role of the UAE in mitigating global warming.
